2016 Honorary Lecturer

Michael Kemper from Ikon Science Ltd. (hello, RokDoc!) is visiting Baku on 25th February as part of SEG Honorary Lecturer tour with the talk titled “Infusing Rock Properties into Seismic Inversion”. Something worthwhile mentioning is that Michael is one of the cofounders of Ikon Science and is currently in the role of director for research and innovation there.

ANNUAL STUDENT SYMPOSIUM 2014

This year student symposium was held in Baku Higher Oil School which readily shared the cutting edge facility with students during the 3 days of the event. Similar to previous years the symposium was saturated with interactive lectures, interesting discussions and full spirit of competition. KHAZAR TEAM IS GOING TO PETROBOWL CHAMPIONSHIP IN USA

SPE Khazar University Chapter represented Azerbaijan at PetroBowl regional qualifier in London on 17 March 2015. 16 Teams from the most known petroleum institutes of Europe have been compeeting for a right to participate in the Championship contest at the 2015 SPE Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition (ATCE) in Houston.
